Prayer for the Weary Warrior
Prayer for the Weary Warrior
“Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you that I have the power to bind demons in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus I take authority over the spirits of depression, oppression and apathy. I silence the mouths of the lying spirits that are speaking words of hopelessness and sadness.
I take authority over my own mouth. Lord, help me not to speak words that agree with the enemy. He is seeking to destroy me from the inside out. Compel me to speak the word of God and positive and edifying words that agree with your Kingdom and build up my spirit.
Lord, help me to take this warfare to the next level by singing sing songs of praise even (and especially) when I don’t feel like it. I know that when I do this, I am working in agreement with your principals. This will be a mighty weapon for tearing down the strongholds that are attempting to take me down. I decree it will not happen, Lord.
I know I have a job to do, but I have lost my strength to do it. Restore to me the joy of my salvation. Put a new song in my heart. Give me clear directions, visions and goals.
Give me a thankful heart that recognizes the blessings in my life; open my eyes to see that there are others that are hurting more. Help me to look outside of my own situation and think about another person today. As I reach out to help another, allow the healing power of your love bless us both.
In the name of Jesus I speak wisdom, growth and revelations to be received from this dry season in my life. The Lord will give me beauty for my ashes and the oil of joy for my temporary trials.
Lift up my heart, Lord. Bless it. Show me how much you love me so I can start blessing others with the overflow of the outpouring of love you bestow upon me. I will not waste it; I will only praise your name more and give you the glory for my restoration.
In Jesus’ precious name, may His will be done in my life as it is in heaven, Amen.”
